Treasure Hunting

19 Jul

We’re always keeping our eyes out for vintage finds and antique artifacts with a certain je ne sais quoi. From the worn, weathered, or distressed, to the primitive, industrial or handmade, good design and strong aesthetics never go out of style. We’re drawn to items that harken back to a time when skilled craftsmanship and homeland industry reigned, and recall a nostalgic sense of America. In the shop and at home, we try to mix this appreciation for the past with current trends and new gems, which helps to create an environment that feels livable, familiar, and real. Finding the right pieces isn’t easy, but we like the challenge. Unfortunately, we can’t take home everything we see (we’re not the ‘little’ station for nothing) but we can take away inspiration, ideas, and decorating tips. Here are some highlights that we spotted last week at the Brimfield Antique Show…

all the best,
