Falling in love with Autumn

12 Oct

The summer is at an end, and we are transitioning our hearts and minds for colder days, changing leaves and sweater weather. I just got back from whirlwind weekend wedding in a charming Scottish fishing village, but while I was out some new treasures arrived on our doorstep and Fall came knocking on our door. The air is cold and the wood burning stove is on. The leaves are turning and our new pumpkin candle is glowing. We’ve got an array of great gifts for heart and home, so stop in for a visit to see what’s new. I’m still holding out for a few more brave swims in Long Island Sound, but for those hot-apple-cider evenings the shop has some beautiful wraps and scarves ranging in color from brilliant navy to rusty reds and deep plums. We also have an array of new earrings in gold and silver tones, plus colorful geometric patterned bracelets and bangles, and a selection of color-block necklaces or long beaded chains that pair well with dresses and boots.

As for the cottages, the season ends in a few weeks. If you’d like to book a mid-week break or weekend away, be sure to call now. There are great autumn happenings in this neck of the woods – like apple picking, hay rides, and scenic drives. To check availability, call us at (203)245-2676.

all the best,
